I've really started something here now. I'm also now in total confusion. I only have space for one buddleia. Soooo.....Black Knight or the new bi-colour, price is something to think about aswell. I'll have to think on this for a bit.
Thanks all for your input, I'll let you know what I decide on. :)

Right, I've made up my mind. Weyeriana bi-colour it is, but yet another problem. I can't get it on the island. I've looked around on the internet and most of the available ones are tiny.
3 litre pot size would be good. The only site I've found that has got them won't deliver here.
    Any ideas please? :)

What about me of getting the 3 litre sent to my address and then sending it onto you via courier or parcel post, Sheal. The only temptation being I might queeze it into my garden :D:yess:

That's very kind of you Armandii, but I think the best thing I can do is be patient and wait until I have my holiday across (that's what we call the mainland here) and pick up one then. I'm away in June so it won't be long now.:)
Besides as you say it might not make it here! :loll:
    Thanks again. :thumb:

My Black Knight has been up to 6' by 6' but I try to keep it smaller.

I think the Buddleia, Daisees, is one of the plants that's worth the extra care you have to take to keep it within bounds. The only trouble I have with Buddleias is that I choke on the pollen when it finished flowering and it's time for a pruning.:cry3::dunno:

It was just a thought, Sheal. But if you're coming over here on holiday in June then you can have the personal pleasure of buying one. If I'd have bought it for you and then couriered it on to you it would have been a 70 - 30% of you actually getting it.:D:happydance::oopss:

It would also be pretty skinny after you had taken cuttings for all of us :heehee:

I've always loved the Buddleias:D It's hard to choose which one I like the most as they all attract the insects and all look good. It's one of the few plants that you can cut to the ground and 4 months later it's back to it's original size:thumbsup: And of course it's so easy to propagate:yess: All four just fit in with the rest of the shrubs that line the fences and really look so good when in bloom:yess:
It's funny how us gardeners always find space in the garden where there isn't any:D The Black Knight will always look good where ever you put it, Sheal:hapfeet::yahoo::happydance:
