          My black knight has got buds on it too. My empire blue hasn't yet though, possibly because it's in more of a shady area.

            It did indeed, although it hasn't put on masses of growth, just a couple of leaves. I reckon it's too busy building up it's root system.

            Also all of Armandi's teasels all pulled through and have planted these out yesterday.

            It seems on closer inspection my empire blue is about to flower as well.
