    lovely picture just goes to show nature has a way, but it does make me wonder how does it get its water being such a big plant not exactly an alpine :D :D

    Well brazil, I've woundered this myself.
    The only thing that I can come up with is that the brickwork is very old and porous, and it acts like a sponge,and stores alot of water.
    The only other plants that manage to survive on there are mosses.
    There is also a broken guttering above, that ensures the wall does get a good soaking, when it rains. Even so it does get really dry up there.
