The concrete has been poured and the steels have gone in. The bases for the tiki bar and hot tub have now been finished.

The first plants have also arrived. I got six eucalyptus trees from King Barnes Trees.
These will be used for screening purposes at the rear of the garden.

        I have the following varieties:
        Eucalyptus subcrenulata
        Eucalyptus rodwayi
        Eucalyptus nitida
        Eucalyptus dalrympleana
        Eucalyptus gunnii divaricate

Great garden project, mental aspect ! :)

          I do like a tropical garden :D

I live in Essex, great county for growing tropical plants and tropical 'style' plants :)

Have a look at Gaz's garden, it's one of the best I've seen ! :)

If you can find someway of erecting cover you can flower Musa Basjoo in a well protected garden :)

Beware the potential growth and root spread of those Eucalyptus. They can quickly get away from you and spoil what will grow underneath. :)

Haven't been on here for a while, but here is an update. The granite paving had a 6 week delay as it was being shipped from abroad the company got the wrong colours.
The tiki bar and hot tub are now in. The building side of things should be finished in a couple of weeks.
