Bulb planting 101. Where to start.

    I saw a flower today that on investigation looks a bit like chionodoxa. I see there are 2 sizes of the blue varieties. They gave me an idea.

    Hopefully in the summer I will have my barrel water feature straddled by geum totally tangerine with lithodora Grace ward in the gap inbetween. I was undecided whether to add any spring bulbs. Chionodoxa might make a good precursor to the lithodora. It might even grow up through it.

    Edit. I've just been reading about Russian snowdrops. They look interesting too.

        Yes Gary, its an idea to add chionodoxa there. Nice orange n blue scene and both geum and lithodora are evergreen. :)
