bulbs poping up

    I can confirm seeing the first daffs of the year. On the way driving over to Crawley this afternoon, we passed a grassy bank at the side of the road and there were several daffs already flowering, early as they always are there (no idea why). But this is extra early-and a very welcome sight :)

    I spotted some crocus flower buds today so won't be long now until they flower:)

    tips of bulbs showing though not much else.
    I'm still waiting for the snow drops.
    In the meanwhile I have some alliums to plant (Wazzakins got them from Amsterdam for me) and I bought some Lily of the Valley to plant. I want them to spread. Always wanted some of those.

    As its sunny here I took a wander out into the garden and found crocus and snowdrops buds showing their little heads. Can't wait for them, I only planted them last autumn so excited :)
