I keep nothing of real value in my allotment shed, I prefer to keep it at home where it's guarded by 9 waggie tailed guardians who would take great pleasure in ripping any intruder to bits!

However I DO lock my allotment shed simply because I've was the victim of petty pilfering from fellow allotment holder(s)!!!!!!! (hence building the shed)

Nothing of real value but a nuisance nonetheless.

Our allotment is like Fort Knox fortunately we get no vandals however the only vandals that do damage are some of the plot holders. Just two of them. One set fire to another's shed because of an on going dispute and the other will go round nicking veg. as I caught him on my plot nicking my grapes and Artichokes. Also he has nicked cabbages, carrots and the list is endless. He has been warned.:)
