        Sorry to hear of your loss Zigs and glad you have got the items back,but such a shame that you have had this happen just as you are getting your life back together again....

          Had a look thru what they took, they'd have been lucky to get a quid for the lot at a car boot sale, it was mostly broken rods that I was using for spares :doh:

            I think the average thieving toe rag has limited intellectual capability, and wouldn't have known that they couldn't sell what they'd nicked.

            Years ago when I was a student, one of the computer labs got broke into and all the terminals taken. The stupid thieves hadn't done their homework, because if they'd done the lab next door they'd have walked away with about £100k worth of top of the range desktop PCs, instead of a few quids worth of 'dumb terminals', basically keyboards and monitors with no computing power of any kind, that simply act as input and output for the mainframe in another room.
