Oh you shy person, you, Kristen:love30:............You know that what's on Page 3 is your contribution on how to make a female putty in your hands [not to be read by the faint hearted]:sofa::heehee:

well tuesday it was a stunning day so i got my lazy butt up the plot and was super busy,
glad to report that i had no storm damage, a few others were not so lucky

i have cleared and weeded the strawberry bed i am extending it this year so i have turned this over ready to plant into
i have dug over most of the next bed but still have a few leeks left to lift in it
          top beds.jpg

i have also cleared and turned the top three beds ....it looks like i grow plastics, the tyres are to shelter the young plants very windy on the plot the white buckets are for water even though we have water on site some of the boys up there wont share they have it running on THEIR PLOT all day long given a chance, so if i get a chance i like to top these up so i have some water for when it is really dry, i also have rain butts

i had a lot of brambles that had gone crazy again so spent an hour cutting that back and digging out roots again,

i still need to take down the canes from last year and dig out and replace the soil and re set the poles for the runners

on the whole i am quite pleased with how it is looking

I've got a couple of dozen old car tyres that I use for that purpose, mainly to help prevent courgette, marrow and pumpkin leaves getting shredded by the wind after planting out on an exposed plot. They're also used to help hold down mulch sheets, but they still have a squash planted in each one (looks a lot tidier than a scattering of palettes).
