Busy Time In The Garden

Did you buy it in a pack Bilbo?....Hmm giving me ideas.. I could make some nice looking bird boxes with it

 

Hi, no I got it from the lake I used to manage (my dad brought it round as he still looks after it), they had a large delivery of it from a saw mill; all the outside parts of the tree trunks that are no good for making planks. Its used at the fishing lake for holding banks up or making the fishing spots so they look natural. The pieces I got were the smaller ones that weren't usuable at the lake.

Funnily enough I have made a few bird boxes with it too

You could see if you have a local sawmill as its just waste to them, I'd imagine you'd get it pretty cheap or even free..

 

They don't have trees in Yorkshire, just Reticulated Willows growing in the Grykes on the limestone pavement.

 

Lovley Job Well Done Bilbo ive just edged the rest of mine with Victorian Granete Cobbles i work in a Shipping Container Yard next door is a Tarmac & Surfaceing Company i do a bit of securaty on both sites when ive done my own job
i spotted these stones so rang the company up explained who i was and asked if i could bye some obvasley i asked for them to be as cheep as poss!!!
