Pictures when I learn how to ( and find time). Have e-mailed pictures before by adding them in an attachment. Is it like that ?
Livestock from Worldwide Butterflies who are a bit expensive as they charge VAT on stock and on the postage. There are other commercial suppliers to be found on the internet typing in suitable keywords like butterfly breeding and insect cages.
Otherwise I belong to the Entomologists Livestock Group who buy sell and exchange stock at a reasonable cost in a fortnightly newsletter posted or e-mailed for about £15 per annum.. Bad news is that there is a membership joining window from about November to February.

When you've made a few more posts you should be able to add pics with the "upload a file" button. In the meantime you can copy and paste from an on line pic hosting site like Photobucket (other hosts are available)

My garden is 'alive' with "Hedge Brown" butterflies. I think this is because of the huge bramble bush that is taking over (And I mean it's of 'Triffid' proportions.) I think that must have attracted no end of insects I don't normally see. Or it could be the fact that my lawn is looking like a wild-flower meadow.

It all grew, since I was distracted months ago, looking after my wife, after her knees were replaced! The butterflies are nice though!

I nearly forgot. I am a new member from Birmingham. I am not an expert 'gardeneer', but I do have a certain amount of knowledge. I specially like Fuchsias, Chrysanthemums, and Dahlias.
My veg growing was great until I got tired of bringing in topsoil, in an effort to be rid of stones.
I am a product of the 1930s, so if I sometimes sound old-fashioned, that's because I am. :ccheers:

This forum has a great set of 'emoticons' BTW... :doggieshmooze::hapfeet::dbgrtmb:

Hmm... Many thanks. I can't see a means of opening a new topic mind. I better leave it to the Mods to move my post if it's necessary!

When you go into one of the forums you will see a box at the top right hand side of the page saying 'New Thread' coloured green, click on that and it will enable you to start a subject of your choosing. It's all a bit daunting at first but take your time and you will find your way around. :)
