@Jiffy  Took me a while to work out you were talking about yourself there! Much longer than you'd expect :snork: I was going to ask you whether you realised that you quoted and commented on your own comment

And yeh thanks for that.... I looked at pics of the Garden Tiger and was pretty excited! They're really colourful! Now I know that I've got Vapourer moths growing in the door. That's not quite as interesting  Hopefully they won't eat the curtains!

Don't worry about misleading me... no harm done :pathd:

Ohhhh I've had a few male moths fluttering around the window! Perhaps they're trying to find the females?

My Fiancee is an insectophobe so I might not mention this to her otherwise she'll end up getting the vacuum out and getting rid of them. Putting them in a jar sounds like an great idea... I wont move the wooly cocoons but might see if any free roaming ones can be caught. Will keep you posted!

Sorry for highjacking the thread btw

UPDATE: The fiancee has pulled some faces after seeing what I was up to and has turned a funny shade of green. :heehee:

Brown Argus (a rubbishy shot because I could only get a pic by pushing my hand+camera through some vegetation, pointing it downwards, pressing the shutter and hoping for the best).

Holly Blue (too busy watering at my plot to go wandering off with camera, but this one alighted on the hedge beside me as I was going through the gate).

Common Blue (shame about the shadow, but it's all I got after chasing 6 or so of them around in the hot sun for about 30 minutes and decided I'd better get back to watering).

Nice picture though Scrungee. The butterfly looks like it's been sprinkled with blue powder paint. :)
