Poplar Hawk-moth...a bundle of velvety gorgeousness.

I just love the architectural design of the wings.

Lovely pix - as always @Sheps. That poplar hawkmoth is beautifully camouflaged.

I had a nymph/emerging damselfly on a bit of Equisetum a while ago, which I'd accidentally captured while taking a pic of something else. I forgot about it, but when I was looking yesterday, it had gone, so hopefully it's flitting around now.
I took this last week - I put it on the other thread yesterday too

I was wondering why the Verbascum looked a bit rampaged and put on the glasses. I counted 16 happy mullein moth caterpillars :)

                      Buff-tip...unfortunately I couldn't find a Silver Birch twig.

Best viewed in my Moth Album as it displays a sharper image.

We look every day now in our pond half way up our steep back garden it’s coming close to June17th when last year our 1st Dragonfly came out. This cold wind hasn’t helped I know but we’ve had 3 Damselfly dancing about , Nature Hey !
