Some lovely pix on here. Great to capture them [dragonflies] as they emerge @AdrianBg

We get these regularly. This one was there for hours, and hardly moved

Our buddleias are also lacking in butterflies this year but then is the whole of our garden and orchard. The whites are around but only 1 peacock seen in a week.

Screenshot_20240717-123724.png I captured a small ermine moth on camera today, but, because it refused to open its wings for me, I've no idea exactly which type.

Beautiful @strongylodon . I got a few pix of a comma in the garden last August. First time I'd seen one.
I don't think they're very common round here anyway, but last summer was our hottest, driest summer on record which may have made a difference - better conditions for them, and maybe that's helping them to spread, so I'll keep a look out for any this year. Certainly plenty of food plants to suit them here as well

Went for a walk at lunchtime today and found this Golden Ringed Dragonfly 2024-07-22_11-29-54.jpg

Then in the garden I found this extremely tiny moth. It's sitting on a fuschia petal.
