Yep, I mostly water overhead when the weather is hot, mine always seem to attract cobwebs during the winter.:snorky:
A bit of humidity promotes growth.

Keeping them in the house or greenhouse?
You water when dry in summer, you water much less in winter even if in the house.
Lots of sunlight, and a cool winter, below 10C should provide flowers again next year

May I ask, are flowers glued to the plants? Then need to be removed very accurately not to damage cacti.

No, they grow their own flowers then the seed pods just drop off :)

I know, maybe I wasn't clear on saying, I'm talking about Gail_68 three new cacti plants, those look suspiciously after the plants with glued dried flowers on top.
Cacti are interesting, I've grown quite a few from seeds.

Dont bin them, grow them on and see what the flowers are really like, I bet they wont be like the ones there at the moment.
But it will probably be next spring before you see real flowers.
Gail, don't go down the road of buying plants and dumping them, plant growing and gardening is often a waiting game.
If you go down that route, go buy a bunch of cut flowers

Pete even this is pointless for some reason fresh flowers die in this property  but used to last in the last property :dunno:
