      Fantastic - thanks @ARMANDII and @Scrungee

      I have decided not to faff any longer, and have just ordered a 50mm Olympus OM for £119 from Ffordes, and a Fotodiox adapter for £33 from Amazon - not only was this adapter UK stock, but it also looked more substantial than the other model which appeared to have some sort of grub screw to hold the thing on

                  It seems to work quite well, what ever it is all about - even a numpty like me can drive it and get semi-decent images.

                  Have you got it already?

                  Next thing somebody will be trying to convince you to make to make the most of that adaptor by buying more lenses such as a 500mm mirror telephoto lens (equivalent of 1000mm on m4/3) and then suggesting you get a cheap Olympus Pen body (I got a new EPM1 for £110)because it has built in IS and would be really handy to use with those extra lenses, plus etc., etc.......

                    Not yet Scrungee - I was referring to the camera itself, it gives good pics even when its a goon like me at the controls

                    The camera only takes an image, FC, but it needs a person to decide what image and how it should look.:dunno::hate-shocked: Let us know how it all works out.:snork:

                      So far, so good - lens has been dispatched (the one at £75 was properly scruffy, so it was easy to see why this one was £119), and it should be here tomorrow; I have preliminary date of Thursday or Friday for the adapter.
