My only claim to fame was seeing Fred Gee from Cornonation Street in Scarborough. He smiled at me. Then again, it could have been wind.

Oh, and I was once in a magic show at a holiday camp in Skegness. They made me float on a board - the trick where they take chairs away. I was only 15 and mortified!

(Who originally sang I Guess It Doesn't Matter Anymore?)

Too right I had to hold onto that tree, those platforms were 6 inches tall!! I usually only reach half way up the stump of that tree!!

And thank you Elainefiz - Nerys was the look i was after!

I do remember her, but sadder still, I remember the small blonde girl who she shared the house with first!! And gosh, yes! It is the woman out of Emmerdale - I didn't put the two together!!

Oh, roders - my favourite piccy of him!! I've had that picture by my bed since the day he died - can you believe that? And di you know he was officially registered blind as his eyesight was so awful? He tried contacts but they were very thick and cumbersome in those days and he couldn't get on with them so in came the "statement" hornrims.!!
