    Too true and I agree 100% that's it for propagating for profit. There's no profit had in GC for swapping items, is there, except profit of another plant? :D

    It wasn't a hint, LoL!! Honest! :rolleyes: [​IMG] Despite Platty's success in Larbert, where I am isn't very sheltered, so I don't think I want to experiment at the moment with tender(ish) exotics. My passion flowers are all I'm doing for now. Maybe one day I'll build a suitable sheltered area...........

    Your right Pete, it is only if you are propataing for profit, plants for personal use are OK.
    This cultivar Flaming Fire is so named as it is similar to Pieris Forest Flame with it's red juvenile leaves. [​IMG]

    True, Strongy, I read that also about the resemblence to Pieris, a lovely shrub I had in Bucks! [​IMG]

    You are right. It is not propogation that is prohibited, it is the selling of the cuttings or divsions for profit. You can take cuttings for yourself and even give them away.
