Camera problem

    Ran an avg tune up earlier and it's done something to me camera uploading thinger :gaah:

    Gettin an "usb device not recognised" message when I plug it in.

    Tried updating the driver, say's its up to date, did a system restore which just made my google chrome link break and didn't help :doh:

    Memory card slot is broken so I can't upload any pics now :gaah:

    Any ideas anyone :love30:

    A new camera?:dunno: Too late now I kn ow, but I would not have done the avg "tune up" as there is a risk the software being corrupted.,,,,,,if it ain't broke..............:dunno: But if the memory card holder is busted then you will need a new camera....sorry, pal.

      Are you using the free or paid for AVG ?

      Agree with Armandii, avoid any so called Tune Up program.

      Assume you did a windows System Restore Point restore, not a system image restore from a full backup ?

      Have you tried removing /deleting the existing driver, then reboot and plug the camera in and see if it loads the drivers again.

      If that fails , have a search in the AVG forum, probably find a remedy there ..?

                    I think for £2.65 I'd give it a go, and it goes in the USB socket as far as I know.

                        Am I missing something?:scratch::doh: I haven't seen any mention that the O/S in the Camera is any form of Windows, it could be Android.:dunno:
                        Ziggy, do you know what O/S is in the camera?, And, if it's new, can't you take it back to the Shop or where ever you got it?:scratch::snorky:

                        I don't think the problem is with the camera @ARMANDII but with using the card from it in Ziggy's computer. :)

                        Actually, I read it that Zigs has two problems, Sheal:dunno: [a] he has downloaded AVG software into the camera and that has seemingly caused a problem in the O/S of the camera regarding downloading and he now can't physically get the memory card into the location slot of the card reader:dunno::scratch:
