I told you the skylon views were incredible, wonderful pics M brings back memories for me too. Did you go across the niagara river over the whirlpool? we didn't have the time (ours was a coach trip so time was limited).
    What's next?

:D You mean this area Strongy,,,,,,,,, & NO,!!,, I didn't cross via the cable car..... While I was taking these photos they all boarded the car, & then when all of them were on, THEY PADLOCKED THE DOORS...!!!!!! That was when I decided, NOoo.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure it would have been wonderful, but I drew the line there...!

[IMG] These cable car pics all taken without zoom so you can see the distance...!

This last one from here was the famous "Niagara Parks Floral Clock". It was perfection to the eye.... Such clean lines to the planting...!!!!! What do you reckon Strongy..? I took a few of areas of parks here & there. They all had something to offer...!! [IMG]

BTW, there was nothing to stand on to get any height.. Sorry..

The Falls are absolutely breath-taking, MF - it's the only word for it. I can just imagine the noise of so much water - must be thunderous.

    If I'd been there, I wouldn't have managed the cable-car thing either - I'm a coward!! :D

I have a similar pic but I had to wait for people to pass to get a good shot, there were coach loads. The clock is always perfect but being such a well visited place, it has to be.
Did you go underneath and see all the other design photos from the last 30 years?
The design in 2004 was very like yours, the flower beds around the falls are stunning. [IMG]

Port Dover was another place I wanted to go... Goes back to my motorcycling days.... Every Friday the 13th there is a fantastic bike rally there. Bikers from all over the world go to it... Would love to have done it on a bike, but sadly those days are gone now....

It is a really lovely fishing port & town on the banks of Lake Erie... It was very windy when we were there, but we walked miles, it was lovely.
Each side of the entrance to the harbour there is a light. There was a good swell as you can see..

On the otherside of the entrance there is a light & the Commercial Fishermans Memorial.

Each of the Tiles around the Memorial has the boat & the fishermans names on it.. Hence the chain around it..

The ferry moored up in the harbour.

Some of the types of fish caught there.

    Commercial ship on the horizon.

It was quite choppy as you can see. You kind of forget it is a lake & think it is the sea..!!!!

    Sunset on Lake Erie..
I hope you all enjoyed these... Will do another post later of somewhere else....
