Yes he has lots of other stuff, very tempting! The postage is not too bad, I bought a few cannas and he combined the postage, I think it only cost me around a fiver for 15 tubers.

Very nice sal, where did you get them from?

Worth keeping them separate, in quarantine, for a while perhaps? - maybe the whole first season??

I`ve actually looked at mine and many comes from U.S. , thailand , india and even a grower in Lincolnshire , what I`ve learned from last year is that the virus doesn`t spread quick , it`s actually really slow , also many variety are virus resistant .....
I`ve bin them all last year , but many plant did look fine to me .

I`m pointing to collect foliage cannas only , so I have no choice .

That went through my mind, and I keep meaning to email the nursery to ask how they manage to grow them up there. I've done the deed now and and going by the packaging I don't think they are imported but I'll keep you posted on their health.

Yes good idea, I'm going to examine them closely when the leaves appear. The few I've kept from last year have little value, grown from seed so I've not got too much left to lose.

Half decent summer and they will give you stacks of seed for next year :) (or a little Windfall on eBay :) )
