Went to wilko's to find some cheap cannas and there still full price.
I tried to get them knocked down put no luck.
I pointed out the pots were drier than gandi's flip flops and needed a good home.
There were 2 canna Australia's and 2 canna Madeira

I noticed at our store Mowgley that they had got some more in stock that were just starting to flower and they were full price, where as the ones that had finished after only being in store for about a week were reduced to £2.50 :)

Regarding watering, it funny how one Wilko store differs from another, ours has a proper watering device that looks like a large wheelie bin, which they then 'pump' a handle to build pressure and then water the plants with the attached hose end :dbgrtmb:

Well my Bengal Tigers look fine. They have grown from rhizomes to about 4 ft tall , 6 feet to the flower tips. I put them too close to a little magnolia tree and the flower stems are growing into that ! So they need to move to a new place next season :dbgrtmb:

Well its certainly a bumper year for seed, I've collected well over 50 seed now from my single Limbata plant and now have some from my orange/red hybrid plant drying on the window sill before bagging and putting in the fridge, most of the others that flowered earlier in the year all have big fat seed pods on them too :)

Even Cleopatra has developing seed pods, has anyone managed to collect and grow seed from 'her' as I just wondered whether you would still get variegation in the seedlings or would they revert back to green plants??

On the flowering front, I have Grand Pink in flower, Altensteinii about to flower, along with Musifolia, Russian Red and Australia all in bud :) Others that have flowered are also repeat flowering :dancy:

I did have seed pods on my Cleo too, stupidly I just dead-headed it and chucked the pods on the compost.

looks a bit like "Wyoming" to me.
Is it tall (at least 4ft), with dark leaves?
