                I might be able to see you as well, walking round your garden with a cuppa. :heehee:

                I took a look at the lenses Armandii and liked the sound of the Sigma 150-500mm. :) I've emailed a link for it to my son and just waiting for him to get back to me now.

                It is a good lens and I like it a lot. If you do go down that road then I would recommend you also get a 86mm UV filter as the front lens is a big piece of glass that needs a bit of protection and you wouldn't like it to get scratched. Take your time and see what the lowest price is for a second hand. When I bought mine there was a sudden rise in the number of ones in the market so I was able to choose carefully.:snork:

                Don't suppose I can convert you old timer SLR lovers to a Bridge camera?

                I have a Canon SX50HS (bridge). One lens, 24mm - 1200mm - that's 50x zoom (or 200x using digital zoom). 595 grams all up, cost me £250.

                I am sure that the lens is not as crisp as a good quality SLR, but the only thing I miss is the lens-ring for zoom - the electric motor "lever" zoom is a bit more fiddly. But everything else I love - versatile camera which is light, I don't need a chiropractor-inducing should bag of accessories, etc. The image stability stuff means you can take a at 200x zoom in good light handheld without tripod.

                    Hi Kristen speaking as an "Old Timer" :old: I have had the CanonSX50 for a long time now,have also tested every Bridge Camera on the market in my capacity as a review writer,I ie Canon,sx30,sx40,all Fuji's and at the moment I have my hands on the Fuji SL100,and I am just waiting for the new Cannon SX60 to be released on to the market.

                    I am for Bridge cameras 100% and and the image quality is fast catching up on SLR's,not there yet but it won't be long;) I had better stop now otherwise I shall go on and on and on:lunapic 130165696578242 5:
