Thanks all! I'll post pictures of the end result sometime in the new year. I haven't had a chance to start them yet because of appointments and baysitting duties with my grandchildren. :)

At long last my bedroom curtains are finished! The fabric was a nightmare to work with and frayed terribly, because it is quite thick. I started by overlocking the edges but that wasn't holding, so I then hemmed all the seams which made them quite bulky, but it was the only way to stop them fraying. I chose a coffee coloured thread, that seemed to be the best contrast.

I've also included here a couple of pictures of the dining room curtains I made previous to the bedroom ones, which I made tie backs for as well.

With these out of the way, I can now concentrate on preparing for the coming growing season and getting my seeds under way. Well, that is until I start work on redecorating another room. :)
