The weather is nice and I had a spare hour or so. So I've been out and mowed the lawn, fixed the swing, cleared the willow tunnel put a bench back where it goes and generally tidied up a bit.

I had barely finished when the two lads came out, and are now playing on the lawn.

Still got a lot to do, but already I feel a bit better about it.

Excellent. And the boys immediately putting the space to good use proves you made the right decision to soldier on. :)

          You're on a roll! :dbgrtmb:

Funny you should say that. I've just come in to get ready for my weekly aikido class.

I take it there wasn't a 'preservation order' on the sycamore?

You're not alone. In my previous place the neighbours hacked down a mature tree - it looked awful - just branches lopped off leaving the trunk. What an utter pair of numpties they were. It was a semi detached bungalow and they would slam the bedroom door at 11 o'clock precisely - noisy sods as well.

The garden will recover - stay with it - and vote out on the 23rd :dbgrtmb:
