I know you are itching to get it done, so you can get your secret stash of your fave tipple in there , but may be better to wait until the doc says your are ok..........

 

Take it easy, if you must have a go Nick but only with another pair of hands - get a friend to help. Struggling with aluminium frames on your own, is not for the fit, let alone when your supposed to be taking things easy. :D

 

I have a confession to make! I am a smoker...
BUT, tonight I am no longer one!

As from now I will not smoke again...

Tomorrow I hope to be a new person

As a smoker myself ( one who stupidly started again after giving up for a year ) I know how difficult it is. The patches are good and helped me stop from 40 a day.

Good for you Nick - keep it up! I have gone 31/2 years so far - havent succumbed but got very close a couple of times If you dont make a big thing of it, you'll do it Just treat it as 'oh, today I gave up smoking'....good luckx

 

Well done, Nick. Making the decision to quit was the first step, now you're on the second ... take one at a time and you'll get there!

Both of us are ex-smokers, cold turkey quitters and t'other half was 60+ a day! Must admit, he suddenly developed new taste buds and is more adventurous with food than I am now. I never had the craving to eat instead.

 

I stopped 33 years ago and never touched one since. You have to think of youself as a non smoker from now, I know it will be tough but you're a tough guy, right?
Perseverance and willpower and encouragement, they are the three things you need and I'm sure they are there. Best of luck mate.

 

But, at the end of the day, Pal, YOU HAVE GOT TO WANT TO DO IT! And you do, we know it!

Just think of all those plants you can buy with the money you will save!!!!!
I am an ex-smoker. I worked with 2 others in a small office where we smoked all day long. I walked in one day and thought how utterly unattractive the other 2 looked - hunched over their desks, coughing and wheezing away. I picked up my packet, broke them all up and threw them in the bin. Not touched one since - 17 years later!!!!
(Oh - and Mr Honey-Bee used to make me clean my teeth - 'coz he said it was like kissing an ashtray!!!!)

 

Three days and not a flicker!!
Not only me now..but Mrs Pal too!!
It's not a hard thing to do,I am so much in control of my day it's difficult to fill the time I used to spend messing about with the muck!..
