Sorry to hear of your dad's passing Gogs, , I'm sure you will have some fond memories of him.

 

So sorry to hear of the passing for your Dad Gogs, I can only assure you that In time the pain fades, treasure your wonderful memories of your Dad & remember he wouldn't want you or your brothers to be feeling sad, he would want you all to live your lives to the full. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

 

So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad Gogs and you and your family plus your brothers and their families must be devastated but at least he is no longer suffering and is at peace and you will all have many happy memories to remember him by

 

I agree 100% on this. Visit without appointment and I would personally choose just before mealtimes exactly because it is a busy time and I want to make sure the staff don't go mad at peak times...Get there, make sure that the place smell reasonably ok and staff and residents are relaxed and in control, not grumpy.
