Yep, it was the colouring that attracted me to them like a Fly and made me decide to get them, John!!!:dunno::heehee:
I've potted them on from the original smaller pots into larger pots as I have done with the other plants. I haven't used my Water Butts connected to the Green House in a long time but I'm happy to find that both are full to the brim with clean, clear, rain water so I won't have problems there.

I thought the earlier Venus flytrap had unusually dark colouring.

          Armandii,

VFT have a reputation for struggling with perlite in the mix.
Might be worth considering repotting them

I find they are quite easy to grow.
Peat/grit mix, rain water, as much sun as they can get. Min 5*C in winter.

The third one is more the usual colouring I think, but they turn reddish in full sun.

Are there any Carnivorous plants that will cope in greenhouse environment during the summer months?

Thanks Pete...I was reading that some can suffer from leaf scorch due to being under glass and require shade, but I will try and find some that will be suitable.

                    Which ones suffer leaf scorch?
Pretty much, if your greenhouse is in full sun all day, not much other than Cacti are likely to enjoy it, even some of those dont like to be burnt.

Cant think of any carnivorous plants that dont like heat though, other than maybe Pinguicula or some of the sundews.
To me they are probably the least interesting anyway.;)

Thanks, Sirius. I've followed Triffid House's recipe for "compost", but followed a gut feeling that made me be frugal with the Perlite and so it's 95% Sphagnum Moss and Peat Moss. I'll let you know how they get along.:snorky:

Well, I'm having a "major" reshuffle with my 30 or so Cacti on the window sills of my Kitchen and will be moving most of them into the Green House this weekend along with 15 buckets containing this years Tomato plants. The Carnivorous plants will take their place on the South facing Kitchen window so I can keep a daily eye on them while I get some experience of them. :coffee:

Not many can boast of having 30 cacti and 15 buckets of tomato plants on the kitchen window sill.
