I'm glad to have chosen the right picture Woo. :) Most of them were silver and I would never buy a silver car, so I definitely wouldn't have posted a picture of one.

I'm another one with a Jazz, @wiseowl ! I got it about 18 months ago, not long before having to empty my late father's house. I chose it partially on spec of how well and flush the seats fold down, giving me more room to pack stuff into it.. :snork: ..and partially on reviews of reliability/price to maintan and run. It's given me no major problems so far, and while it isn't the fastest or most agile ride, it chugs along sturdily!

...and I don't know if Mrs Woo would be interested in this or not, but if you look at some older models, Honda had a streak of releasing Jazzes in crazy pastel shades. Mine is, embarrassingly enough, PINK. But I've seen mint green and pastel blue, too!

Its the same colour as Mrs SG's also...:)

Mrs. SG's Jazz is a 2009 model. Its used for her daily commute.

Bad points: I find it to have poor acceleration, it takes longer than I would like to get up to
motorway speeds. A "brake service" can be expensive. Thats about all.

Good points: The worst fuel consumption so far has been 0,5litres/10km (abt. 56mpg) which is reasonable. The brakes. They are hot!!!! As Super Lucyjin says, the back seat. (Oops!:snork:) Honda Sweden call it a "magic seat" because it has so many possibilites to fold.

I must say, I share your view. It would be just another silver car in a sea of silver cars.

Mrs Shiney's SatNav has a 'walk' facility which includes taking you back to the spot you started from.

I know a couple of people who have (or have had) a Jazz and they are great little cars; typical Honda reliability (so pretty much bullet proof), with the only downside being that they are not the most exciting thing on four wheels - but who cares? If you wanted excitement you would be buying a TVR or something, so the Honda does what it is supposed to do, and does it well (and with no fuss).

The Kia Rio is a hard one to pass up too - quite frequently you will pick them up at Kia dealers at around 18 months to 2 years old with low mileage, and Kia will re-start the 7 year warranty from the time you purchase it. I have a good friend that has bought three of them for herself and family members in quite quick succession - - she was so impressed with the first.
