By the way, I could care less about all the cars, they are husbands toys, except for the daily driving ones. To me a car needs to get me safe and warm or cool, with comfort from A to B, have a place inside it so I can put all my plants, cats, and not worry about hurting it at all. I have no desire for "ego" cars either. So far due to all the cars, I have yet to in the 26 years of living here, be able to drive my car in the garage and take the food shopping stuff out to carry into the house in the rain/snow. They cost money, they take up room. We now have two extra garages because of them. And then extra insurance to cover the cars. At least it is a arguing point when I want something big.

And yes, when husband starts up the Chevy Nova Hatchback race car, you can hear it way down the street. We also have a flat bed trailer for the dumb thing.

Very opportune cos I bought a new one today :dancy:
          I bought a 10 month old Peugeot 2008 in 'spirit grey' :wub2:

It's gonna be quite a change from my 11 year old Honda CRV. The 2008's a 1.4 diesel model, £20 car tax (currently pay £485), up to 75mpg (currently 25mpg). I haven't driven the actual car as it's in another branch so they're going to try and get it there for Monday so I can have a go before I finalise the purchase. Test drove one of the ones they had there and it was fabulous - much better than the Renault Captur which I test drove before it.

They are both small SUV crossovers. The Captur felt really small inside but the 2008 felt lovely and the back seats fold down flat, which the Captur's didn't (essential for me so I can fit 3 dogs in the back). It was a toss up between the two but the 2008 just felt superior in every way.

              Very smart Merleworld. :)

I like the shape of the Civic JazzSi. I wouldn't mind one myself and Honda's have a good reputation too. :)

                      Cars, I can do that!
                      I love my cars. And I too love the MX5. I currently own a 2005 Mini Cooper S, a 1990 Mazda MX5 (Japanese import) and a 2002 Skoda Superb.
And here they all are :)

@HarryS It's not mine. We get about 100 vehicles on display at our village fete. Including things like this.
