Maybe it is a girl thing - Mrs C seems to like ugly too!

 

I've NEVER had a good French car - and I have had all of the brands. Maybe it is just me! Not sure what I will be going for next, but it is not likely to be another Nissan. I am actually looking at leasing the next one - I could have a Range Rover for £170 a month LESS than I am currently paying for the QQ

 

I've just put the deposit down on one of these. Not a car for sporty car type people but it's certainly the right type of seating for my bad back.

 

Is that the S90 @shiney? I must admit I hanker after the new XC60 or XC90, not that I could afford either of them. Volvo have always had the most comfortable, and best seats, ever - bar none.

@Sheal - believe it or not, the current winners are Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorrento - - 5 and 7 year warranty (if purchased of course) and as bomb proof as Toyota; they certainly put the likes of Ford and the Germans to shame in the reliability stakes.

 

The rest of the world's car makers should be ashamed of themselves in comparison to be fair - have you seen how many Ford's are catching fire in recent times? JLR are making some really gorgeous products, but they seem to have fallen into the trap where quantity has dented quality and reliability. VAG are shockingly bad, especially VW and Audi - Skoda seem to be vastly better than the rest of the group in most ways. Vauxhall, well they are as good as dead in my view - - PSA have bought them, and although they have said they want to retain jobs, I firmly believe it will be an asset stripping exercise which is purely to eliminate one of the competition. Toyota - they are still good, but they have kinda disappeared up their own rear end when it comes to hybrid technology, Honda lost the plot years ago (sadly) and even Mercedes have sold out (they are now re-badging Nissan vehicles!)...... So, the unique choices are Kia, Hyundai, Volvo and Subaru....

 

Yes I don't like the XC90 because it's too big.

Yes, and have memory positioning for the driver's seat and wing mirrors.

There are a lot of optional extras that I don't really want to pay the price for. I don't think I want to pay for the 'heads up display' or all the blue tooth thingies (technical term ).

 

Love the S90 - just love it! Such a gorgeous design, inside and out (those C-shaped lights at the rear are SO distinctive). By far, you are getting one of the most unique, distinctive, safe and outstanding cars in our current time.

 

They haven't built it yet! Up until a few months ago they said they will only make them in, mainly, diesel and some in diesel hybrid.

I don't like diesel because I can smell the particulates - and am sure they don't do me any good. They announced the other month that they had changed their minds and will be making a petrol version. Actually, they had their minds changed for them as sale of diesel cars have dropped considerably (figures just out say that there has been a drop of 17% in sales of diesel cars this year).

They don't expect to have it finished until March. I got a good deal because of low sales all round.

 

Better that than having it sat in a field for six months awaiting delivery! I am certain you will be delighted with it, and I want a tour when I come to see you in May!

 

Right, I've booked it into the schedule. I may have learnt some of the things it does by then!
