hi paladin, i just came across your wonderful hobby. i think carving stone is great. its something id love to do and hopefully, maybe will. only thing is, where i come from is a totally granite area . it would be great to create your own sculptures for a garden . anyway i thought you might be interested in this site http://www.ozshots.com/20001014_William_Ricketts_Sanctuary/ this man created sculptures from a porcelain or ceramic mixture . i visited his "santuary" this year and can only describe it as fantastic.

Have just come across this section and am completely stunned by the skills of the GC members. Congrats on thes wonderful pieces of stonework.

 

Not so much'Carved in Stone' as 'Set in Stone'...Every Knight should have one... :D
