Well I'm not sure a house is not a home without cats...but I definitely agree it's not a home without pets of any sort.....I'm a dawg man mesel, but with 5 cats, 1 dawg, 1 rabbit, 2 guinea pigs and a hamster, who am I to judge.

They look extremely contented Vicky so good on ya. Our new kitten is ruling the roost at the moment as the 4 adult cats are giving it a bit of leeway....however I do feel in a few weeks, he will be put in his place, heh, heh.:thumb:

I find it quite comforting that adult cats and dogs accept a pup or a kitten straight away...they don't see it as a threat but then eventually put it in its place when they consider its time.

I had a cat called poppy, she was black/white and fluffy. I still miss her now 4years later. Lolli your poppy is gorgeous. I'd love another cat, but I live near a busy road and it wouldn't be fair. 02

    thanks 02,

She is gorgeous, and showing quite a naughty streak lately. Toni is hiding in my bedding box, she was getting paranoid with Poppy following her round.

I may have adopted a multiple personality puss cat. Its going to be funny these next few yrs.

What a pity you cant have a baby kitten, there are hundreds out there this time of year all desperate for a loving home.

I wouldn't like nothing more than having another cat, I love them. But as I say, the poor things would be playing Russian roulette on this road. IVe already had one cat killed on it, and if it happened again I couldn't live with my conscience.:( 02

Tweaks my dream would be to have a little house on a cliff, with my own little steps running down to the beach to the sea in Devon or Cornwall, with lots of other peoples unwanted pets all around me and live the good life. 02

I would really love to have another cat - our Sophie died several years ago but as Mr JJordie is not
too steady on his pins these days it would be fatal to have a cat winding round his legs, as they do,
but I do miss having a cat around [IMG]
