    Ground cover planting has stopped our two cats digging up my borders....no gaps,no loo digging!:thumb:Violets,Love in a mist,aqui's....what ever I can squeeze in does the trick....If there is a gap I do sprikle some shop bought repellant but now the growth is going mental the soil has vanished!:D

    I have no problems with my two cats, not seenany cat poo on the borders, may be they go next door but next door neighbour too has 2 cats. They are mostly seen on our allotments,as our allotment borders my garden.

    my father in law uses carpet gripper rods and puts them just under the soil. They dont pierce the cats paw but do make them leap away .

    he also has a good squirrel deterrent too :o)

    What a great idea.
    I don't get much problem with cats anymore , my garden is a cat no go zone. ;) :D

    But my Dad does, and my husband just happens to be a carpet fitter.
    We have a shed full of gripper rods and metal door strips. :D :thumb:
