Celeriac problem.

    My celeriac was a failure this year:( it boulted,my own fault though i think,should have made a better job of watering them:DOH:
    Looking at Dai's pics you obviously don't have to but i read somewhere that you can 'earth' the roots up to save them going green...i did this the year before and they were lovely roots:thumbsup:

    First time for me too this year, grew them in the tunnel and whilst the leaves grew well and lush...nowt underneath, so they where ripped out and composted. Try again next year as I love this root.

    I have been growing them for years, but never got them bigger than a tennis ball.

    I have never taken the outside leaves off before, untill this year when Monty mentioned it on Gardeners World.
