Take it you're talking to me, not to Jazid?

What do you use, Macleaf? Chainsaws, or more traditional chopping-down tools?

Ladies and Gentlemen, or Gentlemen and Ladies, this discussion is with regard to chainsaws not about male (or female for that matter) bravado, albeit an interesting topic.
Mind you, I may have to invest in a larger chain saw in the next few days or so cos there is some big ol' trees needing a bit of a prune right now and I seem to be the chosen one. Should I re-consider and invest in a huge bow-saw and ginormous axe, do you think? Or perhaps a set of each, by eck!!

Me I take the easy way - anything that needs more than a light pruning saw, or loppers - especially if it has thorns is done professionally. As today, when some nice men took 5 foot off my hawthornes (which had delusions of grandeur thinking they were oak trees)brought my apple trees back into line. Well balanced job, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

My days of climbing trees with a bow saw are long gone.
