    an update!

the light sussex turned into a BOY so hes gone

the two little black ones are settled in and laying a few small very brown eggs

mrs cancan had a bad time - dropped all her feathers and i made the decision she had to be a house chook for a while. (shes a pet!) i tried making coats for her but she was very very scared of them so ... she had a good winter in the house (yes some of you will think i am a mad woman!) she slowly grew her feathers back and at one time looked more hedgehog than chook - shes now back outside and a very very happy old lady - she has started laying again and prefers the garden to the house

i now have a camera! so i will post pics

Looking forward to the pics Loopy although I have seen her with her poor feather loss. I hop she is looking much better.
