I don't believe that she has laid yet. Reason being she is a Columbian Black Tail and there eggs are supposed to be dark, we used to get our eggs from Ocado and they use Columbian Black Tails and they are dark eggs. All the eggs I get are light coloured. With her hunching over the last few days ( as 'M' says gagging for it) I thought that she was about to come in to lay. This is how the other 3 acted before they started laying. I thought this morning when she was on the coop that she was laying. The light has been off for the last couple if hours and I checked her since and she seems quite settled. I will see how she is incredible morning.
      Thanks all for the replies

        Hi All,

She seems fine this morning, very alert up on her feet and eating and drinking. I think I will put her back out with the others and monitor over the day. I am at home all day today as I am starting work on the utility, so I will check her every couple of hours.

thank you for the update Rusty. All the others will be curious about where she's been all night, so that'll keep her occupied for a couple of hours - spinning a yarn...;)

That's good, I was wondering about the others having a go at her on return if she was away for too long.

Checked on her a couple of hours ago and she was all snuggled up on the roost bar for the night. Yesterday when I put her on it she immediately jumped off, and settled on the coop floor. I put some vitamin boost in the water today and will continue until the end of the week. I gave them a treat of some maggots from the fishing tackle shop, and she was happily eating and scratching around for them. She seems to he back to normal today.

Cor, they love maggots, had a friend who used to hang a dead badger over the run, till they changed the law

You'm not allowed to posess a dead badger now
