In case anyone wants to see the lights here's an American "review" (précis - it's bright)

And another, slightly more useful one. Neither has an effective test though so still not sure of efficacy

Can you only put one plant under it? That's what the first bloke is showing

I guess it depends on the size of the plant :dunno:
Plenty big enough for very young plants I'd say. If I get round to setting it up this year I'll only do a few to get them going then sow another lot later

I just wonder how much the first bloke is getting paid for all the advertising.

It was of no use at all other than half blinding him. Maybe he'll be so dazzled he'll never make another video :fingers crossed:

IMG_20230121_103947813.jpg Half my chitting seeds have started putting out roots, so I put them into the module tray. Hopefully the others will be ready this week. Now onto a heat mat. Even if they don't I'll have enough between these and the overwintered plants this year.

As an alternative, this is a good price for a four-headed clip-on jobby. Screenshot_2023-01-26-05-08-03-437_com.ebay.mobile.jpg

I looked at that one and quite liked it with the bendy arms. Seemed a good idea.

@WeeTam @CarolineL have either of you set up the flood light yet?!

I've tried it, but it needs much more solid support than I use with my current lights. (See pic of dodgy assembly). I think it might be better in the greenhouse with a bolt and wire to help the plants there. As it uses 60w - a lot for led - I plan to just put a couple of hrs per day

That looks ideal. Do you have them on a timer?
