£23 a month! For chocolate! :yikes: I sincerely hope they are delivered by hand, on a silver platter, by a butler with a free bottle of bubbly for that money!

Nah, its £23 for a box of chocolates (inc. postage) - you don't have to have them every month (but why not indulge yourself / your missus / whomever?).

You'll pay £20 for a decent box of Thorntons, and although you will get "more" I can tell you Thorntons aren't a patch on these :)

Is there such a thing? Mucho over-rated IMO.

Thornton's used to be top notch but threw their reputation to the wind about 8 years ago, such a pity,
          Jenny
and TBH, Hotel Chocolat chocs are starting to decline into a mass market production enterprise -
          another great pity.

That's my point. Many folk will buy a "decent" (as in top-of-the-range) box of Thorntons as a pressie ... but its not a patch on a Hotel Chocolat Tasting Box.

I sometimes buy something from the Hotel Chocolat retail shops, but (IMO) the Tasting Box is superior quality.

If I paid £23 for a box of chocolates for Mrs LWW she would want to know what I had been up to :phew:
I remember buying her a bar of Fry's Five Boy's when we were courting.;)

@Jiffy - I always find Galaxy too sweet. Cadburys Wholenut is better.

BTW - Lidl do a nice dark chocolate whole nut that is absolutely loaded with hazelnuts!
