It would only take a few hours with some sand, slab base, cement and a spirit level to square it all up, level it and make it stable. Probably worth it in terms of looks & pleasure of use as well as sound building technique. I know you are a busy chap, though!

Interestingly, my old greenhouse which is still standing and in use (derr, I obviously need two greenhouses) is at least 15 degrees off vertical by now, with big triangular gaps where the panes are sliding out but no glass seems to have cracked. However. the slabs underneath it are rock solid, it's the timber that's moving.

Since you said that it dawned on me that I don't have to. I've managed to source some perspex type stuff from work that I could use on that side to eliminate the fiddly bit of fitting the glass (hoping I can affix it some other way).

I think once I've done that fiddly wall the rest shouldn't be that bad, I can also replace the broken panes with good panes that will now be surplus.

We completely underestimated the base. The new plan is to level the soil underneath then level the pavers (floor of greenhouse) and then bolt the base to 4 lengths of 6 foot 4x4 wood. The whole thing should then be more rigid. What do you think?

I know where you're coming from there. I think I need to get a balance between structural integrity and not over-thinking it all. I know it's going to move a bit pretty much regardless of what I do so I have to accept that (and just build the damn thing!). :)

      Thanks All!

Not so sure about the wood for the base, you may find yourself having to replace it a few years down the line because of rotting.

Only got two panes to replace with Perspex and the rest I fitted from the inside, I only needed about 15cm distance to fit the glass! Will post a picture soon.

I stuck with the concrete slab base and packed the soil in with a wooden border.
