            I encouraged my kids to go to only one place at Christmas so as not to be on icy roads more than necessary. So I tell them we'll do brunch on New Years day instead . I do this also so my boys can avoid the "this side or the inlaws" type of pressure on them. Christmas should be fun, not a political battle. I bought a teensy 14 lb frozen bird to toss in the oven and will have enough for turkey sandwiches a few days after. My sister might be here. She and I enjoy playing scrabble and eating christmas cake. We're very casual about rules of the game. Just having fun :)

            ALMOST FORGOT TO SAY.... and start my Kelsae onions that day too!!
