Beef worked out lovely (sorry, I only have the before)

Cut my potatoes with a crinkle cutter for the roasties and that seemed to make a huge difference as they were amongst the best I have ever made. As you'd expect from a lump of beef like that we have at least another two days left from it too.

Not quite made it to dessert yet...

Not the main course, but the most traditional Christmas midnight snack- bread, ham (what else), a slice of pickled cucumber and brie, toasted and served on a jigsaw puzzle.

Our family tradition is to send a puzzle without the box. This year dear Baby Brother upped the game by sending two bags, so we first had to figure out if they go together or are two separate ones. Unless jigsaw puzzles nowadays are triangular, I think we are off for a good start.

Next year I will buy him two of the same and send in two bags. That'll take him some time to figure out. :heehee:

Anyways, the ham was lovely, swede casserole even lovelier, salmon and herring just right and everything felt very festive. Food, glorious food! :)
