My youngest who is six lurves Troy(the boy out of "HSM3), I would consider an I-pod, or easy to use MP3 player for a six year old, maybe a quick lesson on "Audacity"(for the parents) to get the tracks-you can download the music ( alright copy) from any audio you play one the web, ie utube, myspace etc.

As far as old fashioned-I`m not sure, my 6 yr old is the youngest and has a very "with it" older sister. I would go for a more up to date prezzie-you can be a hip grannie.

Jjordie I think you are far better doing your shopping on the internet at least now-a-days as foot shopping isn't what it use to be, I mean you could have a steady stroll around town and bump into people you know where now-a-days people you don't know bump into you!:(

Good luck to anyone hunting for the in thing this Christmas I remember the Turtles in the early 90's where you had to go into the shop and book your items before they even came into stock and then go back and collect them...it was mayhem but worth every minute seeing our boys faces when they opened their presents.:) Hel.xxx.

One of my main reasons for keeping away from the shops is that I try to minimise all my chances of catching colds and flu.

:hehe::hehe::hehe: I remember that one Hel, about the turtles. It was the same with he-man and skelator. I had real trouble getting hold of a Peppa pig spaceship for my youngest granddaughter but I've got it now, one less to worry about.:gnthb: 02
