Christmas songs

As I said I'm not a Christmas pop song person but......one song always stops me in my tracks and to this day I have to stop and listen to it .
The original version and the more recent one always make me feel ashamed of the way we live our lives, the gluttony and the meaning of Christmas now lost to having the latest ' must have ' presents. Parents being pressurised to compete with other parents and buy the very latest toy trend for their children....so very sad.

I'm sorry but I am a proper misery, I don't like any Christmas songs. Christmas carols make me cry and the other songs just irritate me.

 

Snow Ride Together with You. I have one that is all instrumental. Full orchestra (Montovani) and a lively beat. Makes one hippity hop!

@CanadianLori, that takes me back to a magical moment in my life. Fortunately (besides being a heavy metal person) T'other Half also had Mantovani and Mancini albums. We listen to soothing music as "lights out". Rain Music, Pan Pipes, Kenny G.
