I'll cut one of the fruit open tomorrow, Pete.

Good link, Sis, I've saved it to Favourites.

It does seem a shame to remove the fruit as they look so funny.

Well, I cut all four of them off.

The one I cut open tastes quite good actually, with a hint like our lemons taste, but sweeter. So perhaps they are lemons after all.

Certainly looks like a lemon, Sis, and you say even sweeter than your Meyer lemon? Our Meyer and the Bearrs lime are heaving with blooms, perhaps I take a couple of pics tomorrow.

I cannot find on 'search' where last year or whenever there was a discussion about lime trees and limes not having pips. I have definitely found an ancient tree, obviously not grafted especially because of its location, and the limes have pips ... they have the most beautiful taste, picked three more today.

If anyone wants to try, let me know.

Nice thin skinned fruit Kedi, probably more desirable than the calamondin. ;)

I wouldn't mind a few of those lime seeds LoL.
Fancy sent me some seed last year from a lime that they grow in Sri Lanka.
Ive managed to keep just two plants through the winter and they are really not looking that good.
Maybe a lime from a more temperate place would stand a better chance here.

Made a note, pete. I cut another open today and they have such a lovely scent, not like the ones you buy.

Do you want to try one of those candelabra Kalanchoes that Marley IDd? ... small enough for a pot. [IMG]
