Clematis

    Thanks everyone for all the advice given...and the lovely comments about my clematis! I am chuffed to bits! The photo included was actually taken about two years ago...so it looks even better now. I can already see the flowers developing and can't wait until they all appear...is it sad to look forward to a clematis blooming? lol
    Anyway....I will post a new photo when it is all in flower this year...I only wish I could post some miracle way that I have grown it, but alas I have simply put it in the ground and left it for seven years. Was worth the wait though, I can tell you!
    Got two weeks off now as I am a teacher...going to paint the fence around it so as to really set it off...finger's crossed,. it will be really sunny for the next couple of weeks...

    Thanks for the link...if you look at my photo, I am sure that the plant you have recommended is just at the bottom right of my photo. I remember going to the gfarden centre and this is one of the plants he recommended. It is a great plant, flowers twice a year and needs cutting back regularly. I also have a castor oil plant (I think) which has also gone mad...(however, the snow has sort of rotted where new growth appears...so finger's crossed!)

    Hi Elizabeth13. Here Are some Clematis's I have Planted in the Past 3 years.
    Clematis Arctic Queen- Pure White Full Flower ,Grows max 6 ft, Suitable for containers .
    Clematis Jackmanii -Purple Flowers With White And Pink Heart ,Grows 10ft.
    Clematis Sieboldii - Creamy white Flower With Purple Heart, Grows 10 ft .
    Clematis Comtesse De Bouchaud- Rose Pink Flower, Grows 10 ft.
    Clematis Hagley Hybrid -Rich Pink Flowers ,Grows 10 ft.
    All These Clematis Produce @ May To Oct.
