I think this is a wild cherry!

I forgot about this little beauty: first flower of saxifraga x urbium

 

Nigella flower found on a footpath when out walking today. I took some seed from this patch last year.

 

@Mrs. B. , took this one this morning, it's in a different bluebell wood and is fully out.

Carnaval is a great name for that one!

 

It's got it all going on also the leaves have a very fine white edge which adds extra interest. Not a fan of red in general but do love these tulips...this particular one somehow appeared in the back garden and had slowly multiplied. Wonder if a squirrel dug them up from the front garden...no idea @ViewAhead

 

@Scroggin that's a beauty alright!!
Bluebells (and occasional white ones) remind me of childhood days picking armfuls of them in the woods - you could do that then.
