Close-ups of flowers

A simple geranium - our first one out in the garden.

 

A gorgeous fragrant auricula...have lost the label unfortunately, but lovely nonetheless

 

I love these giant poppies. I'm my opinion, they create such strange images, even as they finish flowering.

 

Whitebeam, in flower. Just starting. The tree is going to be full of these.

 

@wiseowl Our digitalis plants are only just showing signs of flower buds. Great to see the white one.

 

As usual the windy weather is playing havoc with our handkerchief tree (Davidia involucrata).

I found this flower nestling in part of the garden yesterday.
Lovely, but I've no idea what it is.

 

Could be an Aquilegia @RowlandsCastle.

 

Mmm! That's possible. I found this amongst the same patch.
