Our Weigela is a delicate shade of pink, but I've come across an individual white flower.

 

Cornflower - I love the colouring

Wow! The photos just keep coming and are so superb. Looking so closely at flowers is amazing. The colours, the textures, the shapes and the sizes are incredible.

Incoming! I was just trying to get a picture of the rowan blossom, I didn't notice the bee until I looked at it on the computer.

 

Ivy-Leaved Toadflax

Man orchid and common twayblade seen on this morning's walk on the North Downs.

 

@LunarSea I used to use the leaves of the ivy leaved toadflax to show the students I taught what stomata (tiny pores for the exchange of gases) look like on the underside of the leaf under a microscope. So easy to see and also good to show them open or closed.
